This unit discussed phonetics and phonology. A very large amount of material was introduced. Intonation, articulate, accent in words were all discussed. The international phonemic alphabet was taught and the production of sounds was gone over in detail. Many definitions were given to describe how sounds are produced. This chapter was very educational, although teaching this would be extreamly challenging unless student is quite advanced in English comprehension.
