This unit covers the qualities, roles, and responsibilities of both the teacher and the student. Though i'm familiar with most of the information in this chapter, i was especially intrigued with the learning experiences between the young and adult learners. I've taught adult students before and some have made some very specific requirements with regards to how they are taught. The requirements given sometimes, i think are ineffective but the student insists on their way. This chapter has enlightened me to the fact that they are programmed by their past learning experiences. Going forward, i will be more patient when confronted with this situation.
