This unit discusses lesson planning. It discuss some very good reasons to make a lesson plan such as a way of keeping records of what you have covered as a teacher and allowing a teacher to instruct a class for you using a given lesson plan. The unit also covers using the ESA method to teach a lesson. An actual example is given that give to demonstrate a possible method of teaching each phase of an ESA lesson. The final part of the unit discusses creating sequence of lessons and the importance of allowing flexibility and having goals.
