In this unit, how to teach vocabulary, grammatical structures and language functions was explained.
In the case of vocabulary, the criteria to choose which vocabulary items to teach, and what aspects contribute or interfere in students' capability of learning them is explained. It is also detailed, as in the grammatical structures section, what aspects of these elements students should know and understand so to ease their learning.
For the three elements (vocabulary, grammatical structure and functions) examples of possible ESA lessons are given.
