I took the course "Parts of Speech" and learned a lot about basic grammar. I learned nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs and more. What was interesting to learn about were words that I had never even heard before like gerunds. It is interesting to know how to use something correctly as a native English speaker but not know what it is exactly that I am using. Grammar is not the most fun part of learning a language but it is very important. Grammar is tricky in all languages so it is important to be able to teach it effectively.
