This unit taught me about the different methodologies for teaching english. All of the methodologies were thoroughly explained and the the pros and cons were discussed for each. After, I learned about the Engage, Study, Activate module for teaching. I really enjoyed how each section was explained in great detail and there were even pages of games and activities to do in each. Lastly, I learned about correcting students and how/when to do so. I learned that the teacher should be the last resort to correct the child; you should always have students try to correct themselves or have one of their peers help them out. I really enjoyed this unit. I feel like I am will be using this model in most of my classes.
