This unit covers basic grammar rules of English. It examines the 8 parts of speech which consists of nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions and gives examples of each. I learned how to properly identify parts of speech in a text and how to define parts of speech to a beginner level English student. In addition, I learned where the parts of speech go in a sentence and how to use them.
