Unit one introduces how important is the role of the teacher during a class. not only his/her role but also how important it is for the teacher to use each of the techinques metioned in the unit in a correct way and also at the correct moment during the class. what makes a good learner is definetly a very interesting topic to learn and discuss due to the importance of knowing our students which may vary depending on many factors, these can range from age to motivation or cultural background in my own opinion identifying the former is key to conduct a more fluent lesson. Finally the levels our students may have can aswell be an important factor to consider, specially if in the class we have students that posses different levels, identifying this may also prove to be of help when we conduct a particular activity. According to what was studied in this unit, it is important to know our students, their background not only their English levels, but also who they really are, in this way creating a strong teacher-student relationship.
