The qualities of a good teacher, his/her roles.
The qualities of a good learner and the different factors that need to be considered when looking at english learners, and the importance of a motivating interaction between teacher and student.
What I learned from this unit is that a good teacher should really love teaching, be kind and patient, have good subject knowledge, should know the students weaknesses and try to give help and individual attention where necessary, the role that we employ(manager, organizer, assessor, prompter, etc.) is largely going to depend on the type of activity and what we wish the students to achieve.
A good learner has a desire to learn, a willingness to ask questions, it is important to know the age of the students and their needs, a good teacher should be aware of his/her students customs.
The relationship between learners and teachers is a very important and a complex issue.
A good teacher will most likely have good students.
