This unit examines ways in which teachers can best manage a class. It provides several pros and cons of students working together and individually. It further gives ideas for arranging students in a classroom. It examines the best ways a teacher can build rapport and interact with his or her students. In this unit, I learned the difference between student talk time and teacher talk time. I learned when it is best for the teacher to talk, but this should be reduced to as minimal as possible. This is so students can practice speaking and using the language as much as possible.
