1 Unit gave a basic understanding on how to become a good and effective teacher by elaborating the role and responsibility of a teacher. This Unit gave ideas on how to keep students active and motivated if provided with various activity that students can participate and learn while having fun, with this approach students will loosen up and be more comfortable around everyone in effect they can be more active during class discussion. This unit also provide knowledge on how to properly approach students/learner in different level which i believe is very important to build a positive and productive relationship between the teacher and learner.
Effective teacher also understand and acknowledge the student/learners age, culture,skills,and backgrounds. I've learned that students will best achieve its potential if the teacher provides a classroom where students can feel safe, confident,and can be them selves, not afraid to ask questions and make mistakes and be corrected. Giving students opportunity to learn on their own is also important.
