In this unit I have learnt abot the various forms of the present tense. The four basic forms, thus the simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continous. The rules for each are quite clear but however very difficult to grasp. As a teacher it is my duty to understand and know how to present it in a manner that will be less frustrating for the learners. With the various ideas mentioned for the activate satege, he learners will be able to understand and use these various tenses with their peers. It would seem that this is a topic every teacher should always refer back to as it is the building and foundational content of every other lesson to come in the future of ESL lessons. Therefore as a teacher I am obligated to understand deeply the consept of tenses.
