Being a creative person myself, I took from this unit the websites they gave where you can create your own crosswords and word searches and the other website where you can view relevant materials to aid your own lesson plans. I also consider the layout and overall design of a book to be important as a I do believe that a well designed book reflecting popular visual trends will be more engaging for students. On the other hand it also depends on the attitude of the class, for instance a class where the students a more mature with a lot of life experiences will prefer older course books and examples in comparison to teenagers who would prefer current and trending examples. This is only a generalisation but it is a teacher's responsibility then to be creative and adapt the material to suite the needs of the students, because there are always exceptions to the rule.
