During this unit we had an approach of different teaching methodologies. The choice of methodologie will depend on many factors; It could be chosen by preference, but the context, the personality of the student and their level should also be considered. I think as well that the methodologies can be mixed. We could for example use part of the “suggestopaedia” method and give an “communicative language teaching” approach during a lesson. The unit detalle the ‘’Engage Study and Activate” method, proposing different examples of activities for every of the three steps. The focus in the unit is more practical than theoretical, I had the opportunity to reflect about my own teaching methods, and about the activities i use, and It helps me to realise in which aspect I should grow: correction, variation of my activities, giving feedback etc ). The ESA method is new for me, it was definitely really constructive to read and study about it.
