In this unit I reviewed how important it is to plan a lesson carefully before working with receptive skills. As teachers we must take into account that teaching these skills is not as simple as reading a text or listening to an audio.
Therefore, it is necessary to pre-teach words which students may find difficult and prepare tasks which would allow students to develop comprehension skills (among others). Although we follow these steps, we should never forget to increase the interest towards the topic and the activities thorough the whole class!
