what I learned from the section is the importance of both student and teacher motivation. Good teachers want to provide the opportunity for great learning in a welcoming and safe environment; paying attention to both age and culture nuances of the students who are learning. The student (learner) is motivated to attend classes, ask questions and participate fully in the class activities. It is important as a teacher to understand what level the learner is at regarding his or her current understanding and proficiency in English. This enables to teacher to tailor the class to the needs of the students.
