Another important component of any language are the structures and how these change certain aspects of language. Most of the students never realize about this aspect, since they are busy trying to comprehend grammatical rules rather than paying attention to the actual meaning of a sentence. I always put emphasis on this part, since repeating like parrots some grammatical structures will not show that someone learnt in a hundred percent the real use of chunks of language. It is very important that aside from gaining vocabulary and grammatical rules, students know how to differentiate between the usages of a sentence, under what contexts these can be given and the wide range of possibilities English can offer in terms of pragmatics.
