Before learning this unit, I only knew PPP teaching method. That is presentation practice and production. However after finish this unit, I found that PPP is only suitable for lower level of simple language. What's more, I found ESA teaching method is much more useful and suitable for teachers to grasp as this method allows teachers to catch students feedback at every stage and it's more flexible for teacher to guide the class and also offers ways for teachers in each stage. Besides it offers all kinds of games and methods to elicit the theme of language points. All in all, it's very helpful and deserve more energy to study the methodologies and ESA theory.
