I have learnt about lesson planning in this unit. the writing of lesson plans has a number of important functions such as an aid to planning, a working document, a record of what a class has done. There are basic principles of lesson planing: keep it simple; don't try to script a lesson;structure the lesson;write timing of each activity; check for balance of skills; keep it flexible. There are a number of very important things to do to be organised for the lesson such as check for plan; check that the equipment is working; be ready to chat to the student as they come into class.
