From this unit, I've learned that there are a lot of activities to get a student to feel comfortable and more engaging when it comes to speaking a foreign language. I've learned the multiple methods that can help both a teacher and student when it comes to learning a new language. Those methods are to expose the students to the language as much as possible, to give input every so often so that the student understand, but can learn on their own, in cases of stress or anxiety, it is the teacher’s duty to find ways for those feelings to lower so that they are not stressed or have anxiety while learning and participating during class. Correcting the students should not be harsh. Student’s will feel as if they are not doing well if the teacher is blunt and shows a lot of the mistakes the students made. It is best for the student if the teacher were to give positive comments while showing the errors the students have made. Students can self-correct and correct their peers work. This can help the student find their own mistakes while helping their peers.
