This unit clarifies what the teacher needs to use to establish a good rapport in the classroom. Eye contact, gestures, using the students' names are important as well as groupings and seating arrangement which affects the classroom dynamics and rapport amongst the students. I have learned how to prepare my instructions effectively: being consistent and using visual clues and simple language. Asking the students to explain back to me what has been told is a good idea when I check the instructions. Throughout the lesson and activities, increasing Student talking time and giving equal attention to the students are most important to remain the classroom in a healthy learning environment.
