I found this unit helpful in understanding the roles of a teacher and how a poor teaching style can greatly influence the language acquisition of students. I enjoyed learning more about how the stages of language learning are distinguished from each other and classified for the purpose of tracking progress. I appreciated that cultural sensitivity and appropriate behavior was mentioned as being important.
