In this unit I learned about the various aspects of lesson planning. From how to organize a lesson plan to what should be included in the lesson plan, this unit covered all stages of lesson planning as it pertains to teaching English as a second language. The most useful information I found in this unit was a piece of advice in the principles of lesson planning. Keeping a record and being flexible enough to change a lesson plan as you are teaching can enhance your abilities as an instructor. I’ll be sure to keep this in mind when I’m teaching in the future.
