Reviewing the parts of speech is always helpful for me. I found the rule that comparatives and superlatives use more and most with words that are longer than two syllables to be very helpful as I had not realized there was a rule for that. I had simply thought it was irregular and thus had to be memorized. The correct use of articles is also one that learning the rules will make me much better at teaching their use as I have struggled with those in the past. I know many English learners struggle with the correct use of those as well, so being prepared with the rules is helpful.
