From this unit i have learnt about importance of productive skills. Productive skills are writing and speaking. there are two types of activities : based on accuracy and based on fluency. Activities based on accuracy are drilling, prompting, model dialogues, guided role-play. Fluency: free role-play, discussions, information gap, debates, simulation, communication games. It is very important to encourage students to speak! there are such important factors in teaching writing as handwriting, spelling, punctuation.
