I have learned from this unit about how I can be a well-prepared teacher.
Firstly, I am clearer about what makes a good teacher. Besides those qualities I possessed, these explicit directions will help me to grow into a good teacher in the future.
Secondly, by knowing every roles of a teacher, I am able to make balance between a `student-centered` lesson and a `teacher-centered` lesson.
Thirdly, to be a well-prepared teacher, I should know what makes a good learner as well. in this way, I will be able to effectively motivate students by encourage and foster these attributes mentioned in this unit.
As Chinese strategist Sun Tzu said, “Know yourself and know your enemy, you will win every war.” To be a well-prepared teacher, you should also know yourself and your students well.
