Noun names a person,place,thing or idea.Nouns can be common,proper,countable,uncountable,abstract, compound and collective.
Adjective describes a noun.It can have comparative and superlative forms.

Verbs are words for actions. They can be transitive or intransitive and have four verb forms.A base form of a verb is an infinitive.Auxiliary verbs do not have the main meaning but help form the tense expressions.
Adverbs modify a verb.They tell how, how often,where and when the action takes place.We define adverbs of frequency,time,place,degree and manner.
Articles( the Definite and the Indefinite) help identifying a noun.
Preposition shows the relationship of a noun and a pronoun and other words.
Gerund is an -ing form of a verb replacing a noun.
Conjunction joins two words together,showing their connection or they can join clauses of sentences.
