To be a good teacher one requires always to have a back up plan, that is why Lesson Planning is so important, this could be a formal planning or an informal one, in my case I prefer an informal because even though you could do the same contents in different classes they not always work in the same way, so you could add few notes for every group. Preparing in advance what you are going to do, how long every activity should take, think about the setting of the class, materials you are going to need. And of course always be prepared if that activity does not work the way you thought it would be.
