This unit is about the EFL methodology, mistakes and feedback.
I have learnt that the teaching methods with the most current TEFL practice are
Engage, Study, Activate and Feedback.
The Engage stage will engage the students fully by discussion, prompting base around pictures, drawing, mine, video, short tape extract, etc
The Study stage should provide for control led practice to see that the students have understood the language and can construct in an accurate controlled manner.
The Activate stage should give the student a chance to use the Language fluently along with the rest of their language knowledge.
At the end students should provide feedback to show how well they have done.
