This unit explains parts of speech to teachers. As teachers, we must undertsand that each and every sentence in English language has various parts that forms it.It takes us through nouns, their usage, main types, and plural nouns. Insight about adjectives are also explained touching on comparatives and superlatives.Articles in their various forms are explained, especially definite and indefinite articles.
Verbs, as we traditionally say are actions words are explained and broken down into transitive and intransitive, infinitives,verbs forms and auxilliary verbs are explored.
Followed by verbs are adverbs, gerunds,pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions.
Having gone through this unit as a teacher, I must say that I feel good to have enjoyed such a revision and a reminder of what I might have forgotten.
