In this unit it mentions five big parts, It inludes what makes a good teacher,teachers'role in class,how to be a good student,the differences between aldult and young learners,and how to devide level according to the learners' language.From this unit I have learnt more detail about general Language teaching.I have been an English teacher for over 10 years,even though that,it is a good way for me to learn. a teacher should have different role on the different stage of the class. we need to notice that which role we should use,like in China mostly the teachers will be the manager or organiser,but we still need to consider that we can be a observer,a prompter,an accessor,a tutor,a participant,a model,and the resource or facilitator. it will be helpful for us when we plan a class.we will know in an activity or on which stage of the class which role should we take.
