This lesson explains the importance of lesson planning, gives some basic principles on how a lesson plan should be written, points out things that should be done to ensure that a lesson goes smoothly and shows how a lesson plan can be structured; giving an example of a standard lesson plan format. It also explains the importance of the monitoring our lessons.
From this lesson I have learned how to write a straight arrow and patchwork lesson plan following the sample structure provided. Also, I have learned that a lesson plan is not supposed to be rigid; the teacher should be flexible to the needs of the students.
