In this unit I read about the suit of issues I may face as a teacher and how to cope with each of them. These can be anything from teaching a very large class to dealing with multiple language levels within the same class. The most helpful section for me to read over was how to deal with young learners and beginners. This is most likely the group I will be in contact with most. I think my greatest challenge when teaching young children will be engaging their attention throughout the whole lesson, especially when trying to teach grammar. Unlike older, more motivated students, I may have to put grammar lessons in the context of a game, rather than simply a lecture style class. However, this has the obvious advantage f being more fun and variable if executed well.
