Unit number 7 deals with 3 main parts of any lesson. Namely, engage study and activate. These parts are typically included in any type of a lesson. But the tasks which are used depend on what is studying. Is it vocabulary or grammar lesson etc. Speaking about vocabulary lesson its engage phase can include: pictures, mime and discovery etc. The purpose of this phase is to meet children with new vocabulary and understand its meaning and pronunciation. Study phase usually has gap-filling exercises or matching ones. Activate phase involve students in active usage of target vocabulary in situations.
