I have been out of university for a year now, and the last time I learned about parts of speech was when I was in middle and high school. As an ESL teacher, it is important to remember all parts of speech and have a more clear and concise understanding. As we were learning about gerunds and conjunctions I was thinking back to my high school teacher who taught me. I remember learning about gerunds and conjunctions, but I also remember at the time I was confused and still didn't really understand it. After this unit, I have a deeper understanding of gerunds and conjunctions.
