This unit covered future tenses. The future is described as the most complex, as other tenses can be used with future meanings, as with present simple and present continuous. As in the other units about tenses, the form, usages, common errors and ideas for the activate stage were given. Future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, and the "going to" form were discussed, as well as the future use of present simple and present continuous. I learnt that the "going to" form and future simple are easy to confuse, and should be taught together to illustrate the differences. Future simple, future continuous, and the going to form are used in predictions. From this unit I learnt that the going to form of future tense is a separate tense.
