I personally think lesson planning is a great tool every teacher should endeavor to have. Reading from units and with some experience I have teaching, it is most useful to have a lesson plan because it aids the teacher know what he or she expects the learner to know at the end of the lesson and what personal aims to achieve. It is undoubtedly a good reference point in the course of teaching so the teacher does not necessarily veer off the main objectives for the lesson. As a record, the teacher is able to know how much language has been taught for easy review purposes in later time periods for purposes of reinforcing what has been taught and learned. Proper organization also becomes possible with lesson planning
