A lot of the future tenses are very similar in usage and form to their present and past counterparts. Future tenses are possibly the most difficult for students to get down simply because there are so many tenses and there are so many different ways they can be used, but each circumstance is fairly specific, which could be a blessing for a student because they don't necessarily have to remember the exact usage, but it is likely that more than one future tense will work for a certain usage, meaning that they could technically guess if they don't remember and have a higher chance of choosing a tense that will work in a given situation. The tenses for the future are the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, be going to future, present simple, and present continuous. It may help to teach some combination of verbs together, like the future continuous and the be going to future simply to teach students the differences between them right off the bat and hopefully they will have an easier time remembering the differences going forward.
