Within this unit I learned how to teach a new language and within the structures of the language such as grammar, its functions, and vocabulary. I also learned how to apply the ESA stages (engage, study, activate) within each of the different context of learning a new language. I learned in the beginning of the lesson that, "whatever the level of class, and however the teacher arranges the study phase of the lesson, there are 4 things that students need to do with new languages; be exposed, understand its meaning, understand how it's constructed, and to be able to practice/produce it."
