This is a pretty intuitive unit, but offers a lot of useful real world tips and tricks for using all the different types of materials and teaching aids in the classroom. A computer seems like the most effective and useful material to have on hand as the teacher can have instant access (with internet access of course) to the whole internet's worth of reference materials, but it would be necessary to plan ahead as well as to try to anticipate different things you would need from the computer before hand to make sure they are all working, that you have the correct software or even hardware on hand or downloaded, that you know where to find the information or how to use the programs or materials that you've prepared ahead of time. For all of the materials and teaching aids listed, it is necessary to plan ahead of time to know how to use that material and how the materials work within your lesson. Essentially, anything that can aid in learning can be used as a teaching aid or material, so being creative with your lesson planning and with designing lesson materials means that you can have more engaging and stimulating lessons for the students which they are more likely to learn from and engage with.
