Learning about past tense verbage was especially difficult for me. When learning foreign languages, I had trouble understanding the past forms and I can understand why some simple mistakes can be made when learning English. I find that talking in the past tense is difficult, even though English is my native tongue. This lesson was particularly valuable because it allowed me to explore the different reasons we use past tenses. I find that I will most likely have to review this lesson thoroughly before teaching a lesson.
