At a certain moment of his career, a teacher has to face the teaching of the grammar. The goal of this unit is to present the different parts of the speech in the English grammar. The unit analyzes the basic structure of a sentence and the functions every grammatical elements plays .It is introduced the use of the definite and indefinite article and its exceptions.It is explained the difference between countable and uncountable nouns and how they are related to other grammatical elements.It is made clear that adjectives have to follow a pattern when are used in a phrase. Verbs are divided in transitive and intransitive and have different tenses such as: base form,past simple, past participle, and present participle. There are five types of adjective : manner, place, frequency,degree, time. . Every part of the speech needs to be examined in depth because of its complexity.
