During this unit I learned what it takes to be a good teacher. I learned that patience, sensitivity, encouragement, and excitement is huge when trying to teach someone anything. I learned what the role of a teacher is. I will be the Manager, Organizer, Assessor, Prompter, Participant, Tutor, Resource, Model, and Observer. These are all essential when trying to teach in a classroom. I learned about the different language levels and what they mean. I also learned what the difference is between adult learners and young learners, which was very helpful because I did not think about it. Overall, I found this unit to be very helpful and informative.
