The understanding of the different methodologies is important to providing the best possible teaching experience for students. Knowing for instance which methodology in correlation to the students can give you a better chance for the students to successfully learn the language.
Knowing how each methodology works and what is appropriate for each stage in the methodology is another essential part of creating successful lesson plans for students. Also, criticisms and praisings should be on an equal plane to make sure students are both receiving elevations in their confidence but also limitations to their ego's where needed.
