If a student wants to make plans for the future they will want to understand their future tenses. An essential tense that is so often over looked by native English speakers. So many times all we think is to add will to the subject and all will be well. As this unit has clearly reminded, that is not the case. It is important to think of how to engage, study, and activate this tool of verb conjugation. Engaging the minds of the students on what they will have for dinner or where they'll go for vacation are two examples. Word fill exercises would work well in studying future tenses. Finally, students would have fun activating their new learned tools through class discussions on what they will be doing after class. Future tenses open a world of communicative possibilities for students.
