The content of this unit covered pronunciation and phonology. it showed the importance of teaching these areas to English language learners and the benefits gained from it. There were many challenging areas in this for me that I needed to know pronunciation. This area covered some very intricate details the mouth, throat, voice, tongue, lips. The area of articulation was also a challenging subject because it helped me to see that if students understand this area of pronunciation and phonology they will be able to speak the language without much problems. Overall I see where it is important to learn the chart.
