This unit has focused on the use of coursebooks, materials and teaching aids, it has taken a general look at some of the issues relating to each of these types of material such as the wipe board, visual aids, workseets, electronic media, resource books and more. It has stated the importance of how they enhance learning and there use at the engage phase of a lesson. It has pointed out the differences between authentic and created materials, how to use course books effectively and pointed out its pros and cons. I understand how useful it is to make sure you recheck your lesson materials before using them so as to make sure you get to deliver the full benefit to the students. I understand how helpful lesson materials are because they act as prompt and create interest and stimulate conversation and motivation.
