This unit provides a fundamental understanding of teacher. Teacher's role is not just teaching as the name 'teacher' indicates, but it is also managing, organizing, prompting, assessing, facilitating, modeling and so on. Teachers should be equipped for those roles and also characters to implement those roles successfully.
It also provides characteristics of learners depending on their age, culture, experiences, and attitudes. It was very helpful to know the scale to categorize the learners in six different level according to their language ability.
