Teaching vocabulary is certainly a task that cannot be overlooked. I see where it requires a number of important steps that if followed will assist the student to gain better understanding of the words and at the same time enjoy meaningful activities which can help the words to be riveted in their minds. The techniques for teaching vocabulary is very helpful. These can be easily applied in the classroom with the hope of getting good results. The grammar structure was very new to me. I could easily incorporate this in my lessons using the engage, study, activate technique. I also like the boomerang type of lesson because it keeps students engaged throughout the entire lesson. I can see where this could boost their learning. Overall this lesson was a great outline which could be easily applied in the classroom.
