First of all, in this unit it was interesting to learn about the different roles a teacher can have. Indeed, it’s interesting because as a teacher depending on the context and the activities we plan for the class, we might switch from one role to the other and it’s important to know how to use them appropriately. Also, within this unit I was able to understand how to make the distinction between the different levels of ability in the English language. This is it important to know as a teacher to be able to adapt my teaching plan accordingly. Finally, I also learned the different characteristics of what makes a good teacher and what makes a good student, and I think it’s really helpful to know in order to adapt myself as a teacher to be the best teacher that I can be and help the students to be the best learners they can be.
